Restrictions in and out of the Lautoka area

The Fijian government announced on 19 March, in response to a first COVID-19 case there, that no travel will be permitted into or out of the Greater Lautoka Area for at least 14 days.

There are no exceptions for foreign nationals including transit.

If you are a New Zealander in the Lautoka lockdown we ask that you:

• Adhere to the restrictions put in place by the Fijian Government
• Register for SafeTravel [].

Registering with Safe Travel is important for keeping the New Zealand Government informed of how many NZers are impacted by the lockdown and enables directs communication.
• If you need urgent assistance use our 24/7 consular emergency line on +64 99 20 20 20

This was confirmed on their Facebook page.
